Is he an agent?

Shot dead a director of photography on set who - for some reason the BBC have to tell us in the article - is - According to her personal website, Ms Hutchins was from Ukraine and grew up on a Soviet military base in the Arctic Circle.

Re: Alec Baldwin
Why was he aiming a firing a gun at a director of photography?

Re: Alec Baldwin
And he shot 2 people - surely you stop after the first one if it’s an accident.

Re: Alec Baldwin
This is just absolutely mental.

Apparently, because it's a western movie his filming, the guns they use are actually real because you can't replicate them, he fired a blank which ultimately killed someone.

What I don't get is the 2nd person getting shot.

Something very odd about it.

Baldwin is known for having a bad temper, but I'm sure this will be an accident. Either way it's pretty tragic that a woman has lost her job while at work.

Reminds me of Forbes McCallister on Alan Partridge

Re: Alec Baldwin
Neither of the 2 were actors and required to be in shot (to get shot)

One of them though - grew up on a soviet military base in the Arctic. Just all a weird coincidence I bet.

Re: Alec Baldwin
Seems likely that he was aiming the gun at the camera, which is where the director of photography and director would probably be. The director might have just got injured from the blast. Bladwin didn't necessarily shoot twice, although he may have fired several times in quick succession and wouldn't have known the first one had hit someone.

Did you see the film there making is something about a person convicted for an accidental murder!!

Re: Alec Baldwin
Blanks can kill if the barrel isn't checked and /or dummy rounds aren't prepared properly. There should be a safety officer and firearms expert at hand every time the firearm is used on or off set. The amount of routine safety measures on film sets with firearms is insane these days. Someone fucked up big time obviously.

Fired a few blanks from Lee Enfield .303 in the army cadets, we were told not to point it at anyone in close range as even blanks can kill

Fucking tragic but how did two people manage to get shot accidentally?

Also, He is one seriously nasty piece of work, did he flip out or accidentally shoot two people?

Re: Alec Baldwin
We all like to play with guns in packed rooms full of people, but take the advice from auntie, once you've managed to get a shot off for your intended target, in order to portray a degree of innocence, stop shooting round about then.

Be interesting to see what happens to this pampered and privileged fully signed up Hollyweird actor.

I'm more concerned about the number of people working in a small room without social distancing or masks.

Re: Alec Baldwin
Depends on the rules, Auntie.

Here in England, you aren't forced to wear a mask in your work place.

Given that it was a 'prop' gun, isn't there a chance that it malfunctioned in some way? Perhaps it exploded or something?
